Privacy policy
Last updated: 10 May 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Rydon Village website (www.rydonvillage.com), why we collect it, who we share it with, and what your rights are. We've written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, please email us — contact details are at the end.
Who we are
Rydon Village is a property development by Drew Properties (New Milton) Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 01393344). Our registered office is Ashley House, London Road, Langley, Slough, Berkshire, SL3 7RS.
For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Drew Properties (New Milton) Limited is the data controller for the information we collect through this website. The contact for any privacy-related question or request is:

What this policy covers
This policy applies to anyone who visits this website, whether you just browse the public pages or submit our enquiry form. Our admin area at /admin is for our staff and is covered by a separate internal notice.
What we collect, why, and our lawful basis
If you submit the enquiry form
When you fill in the form on the /enquire page we collect:
- your first and last name
- your email address
- your phone number (optional)
- which plot or home design you're interested in
- whether you'd be a cash buyer or arranging a mortgage
- whether you have a property to sell
- any free-text comments you choose to add
We use this information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a viewing if you've asked for one, and pass your details to our exclusive sales agent (see "Who we share your data with" below). Our lawful basis for processing this data is your request to take steps prior to entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in responding to genuine sales enquiries about our development.
We will not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing.
Technical information about your visit
When you submit the enquiry form, our server records the time of submission, the URL you arrived from, and your browser's user-agent string alongside your enquiry. This is used to help our sales team understand the context of your enquiry, and to detect and reject automated spam submissions. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (security and reliability of our website).
We do not run any third-party spam-detection service on the form. Our anti-spam check is in-house: a hidden form field that real visitors leave blank, plus a check that the form was on screen long enough for a human to fill it in.
Cookies and analytics
See the dedicated "Cookies" section below.
Who we share your data with
We share enquiry data with the following organisations, and no others:
- Bond Oxborough Phillips — our exclusive sales agent for Rydon Village. They contact you about your enquiry, arrange viewings, and handle the sales process. Bond Oxborough Phillips acts as a separate data controller for the purposes of their sales activity. Their own privacy notice is available on request from them.
We use the following service providers (data processors) to operate the site. They process data only on our instructions:
- Vercel Inc. — hosts the website. Servers may be in the European Economic Area or the United States.
- Supabase — hosts our enquiries database. Data is stored on infrastructure in the UK / EU region.
- Resend — delivers the notification email that tells our team a new enquiry has been submitted. Resend is based in the United States.
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — aggregate usage analytics, only loaded if you accept analytics cookies (see below). Google may process data in the United States.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.
International transfers
Some of the service providers above process data outside the United Kingdom (in particular in the United States). Where this happens, we rely on the UK Government's adequacy decisions where they exist, or on Standard Contractual Clauses with appropriate safeguards where they don't. You can request more detail by emailing us.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond to your enquiry and to follow up on any sales conversation that results. In practice this is typically up to 24 months from your last contact with us. After that we either delete the record or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.
If you ask us to delete your data sooner, we will (subject to any legal obligation we have to retain certain information).
Cookies
When you first visit the site you'll see a cookie banner. We do not set any analytics or tracking cookies until you click Accept. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set, and any that may have been set on a previous visit are deleted.
The only thing we always store is a small entry in your browser's local storage called rydon-cookie-consent. This remembers your Accept / Reject choice so we don't ask you again every time you load a page. It does not contain any personal data and is not sent to our servers.
If you accept analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are most useful and how visitors find the site. This sets cookies named _ga, _ga_*, and _gid in your browser. The data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer. If you change from Accept to Reject, we delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser immediately.
Embedded content from other websites
Some pages embed maps from Google Maps. Embedded third-party content may set its own cookies and collect data about your interaction with it, in line with that provider's own privacy policy. We don't control what they collect.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (the "right of access");
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or out of date;
- ask us to delete data we no longer have a legitimate reason to keep (the "right to erasure");
- ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to particular uses;
- ask us to provide your data in a portable format so you can move it elsewhere;
- withdraw any consent you've given us (e.g. for analytics cookies), at any time and without penalty.
To exercise any of these rights, email enquiries@rydonvillage.com. We aim to respond within one calendar month.
Complaints
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO):

Children
Rydon Village is an over-55s development. The website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes that affect existing enquirers will be communicated by email where appropriate.
